Master of Computer Applications (MCA)

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the University in 2010. The department offers degree programs at doctoral, masters and bachelor levels. The two-year MCA program is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge in software development, system design, and IT solutions. It covers key areas such as programming, data structures, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and database management. The program blends theoretical insights with practical exposure through industry collaborations, research projects, and internships. Graduates of the MCA program are well-prepared for careers in software engineering, data analytics, cybersecurity, and emerging computing domains. The curriculum emphasizes innovation and real-world problem-solving, enabling students to contribute effectively to the rapidly growing IT industry.

Specialization Options: Students admitted into any of the Masters programs will be provided the option to follow the general track or to opt to have specialization either in AI & ML or in Advanced Networks & Systems) before the beginning of the first semester.

Eligibility

Following Eligibility are required for enrolling in this programme

A candidate must have passed a 3 or 4 year Bachelor's degree with Mathematics as a subject either at the Bachelor’s level or at the 10+2 (12th class) level from a recognized institution or an examination recognized by the University as its equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade).

Scholarship: 25% tuition fee concession will be given on SAU-VC programs to the following:

The installment policy for all virtual campus degree programmes will be similar to that of the SAU policy.
